- What is your company’s mission?

At dbi services, we are committed to data infrastructures and platforms. We have made it our mission to design, realize, and operate cutting-edge IT infrastructures that enable our customers to focus on their core business and do what they do best. In doing so, we never forget that we are part of a community which we contribute to by sharing our knowledge through conferences, blog posts, training courses, etc.
- What makes your company a great place to work?

dbi services has a purpose: "We bring skills and above all humans to turn your challenges into successes". This means that in everything we do, we put people at the very center of our actions. Our strong customer orientation is proof of this. However, this commitment to understand and meet the needs of our customers is only possible because we strive to be employee oriented first.

- What feature in the last PostgreSQL version benefits your company most?

There is no single feature to highlight, but the overall stability of the system. This means that the "feature" we benefit from the most is that the PostgreSQL community only releases what is ready to use and stable.
- What makes you want to attend the PGConf.DE conference?

Meeting all the people of the community, listening to great talks, sharing, spending time with old friends.
- What is your PostgreSQL centered product and what makes it unique?

We do not have a PostgreSQL centered product. We use community PostgreSQL and community tooling to provide our customers with a robust and flexible infrastructure to handle their workloads and support them in developing their applications. If they run into issues, we’re there to help them out.
- In which areas do you expect PostgreSQL to grow most and how does your company contribute to and benefit from that growth?

PostgreSQL is growing everywhere, from small start-ups to large enterprises. We are benefiting from it as more and more customers trust us in managing their environments or call us to troubleshoot the issues they are currently experiencing. The more successful PostgreSQL is, the better for us.
